Seacoast Energy Solutions Acquires TempControl

Newcastle, Maine - June 17, 2013 -- Seacoast Energy Solutions (httpss://seacoastenergysolutions.com/) announced today the acquisition of Damariscotta-based TempControl (httpss://www.tempcontrolmaine.com/). The consolidation of the two companies results in a full-service, residential and commercial heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and indoor air quality solutions enterprise. The announcement follows Seacoast Energy Solutions' recent rebranding launch and is part of the company officials' growth strategy.

"This is part of a strategic shift toward delivering more sales and service solutions to our customers," said Casey Pratt, owner and CEO of SES. "We are evolving from being simply a fuel delivery company that provides limited service options to a fully integrated service provider that offers fuel as well. We can now offer clients everything from sales and installation to service and maintenance. This reinforces our brand promise to our customers and emphasizes our commitment to our new tagline 'We Deliver More.'"

The entire staff at TempControl and its entire infrastructure are included in the acquisition, and the transition was complete on June 17.

"I am so impressed with the skilled staff at TempControl," said Bob Milliken, director at SES. "Their capabilities and ongoing training will provide a new level of specialized service and will give us one of the deepest rosters of highly qualified service technicians in the region." According to Milliken, the move was part of a strategic initiative to become a leader of energy solutions in the region. SES will continue to serve local customers in Boothbay, Newcastle and Wiscasset and will expand to also incorporate TempControl's service area, the entire Midcoast. The company's headquarters will be located on Route 1 in Newcastle.
